Job Description

Core Technical Requirements

• NET Development
• Strong .NET development background
• Experience with .NET 8 or newer is preferred
• Awareness that the bank is moving toward newer .NET versions, making modern .NET experience important
  
  
  

Cloud Experience

• Azure experience is preferred because it is the bank's primary cloud platform
• AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience is acceptable if Azure experience is not present
• Candidates should have some form of cloud engineering background
  
  
  

DevOps

• Understanding of DevOps practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and related tooling
  
  
  

Source Control

• Experience with version control systems
• GitLab is preferred because it is used internally
• GitHub experience is acceptable as long as the candidate has strong version control knowledge
  
  
  

Linux & Scripting

• Experience working in Linux environments
• Linux knowledge appears to be an important requirement since the team's services run on Linux
• Shell scripting experience is considered a valuable addition
  
  
  

Microservices

• Strong experience building and maintaining microservices
• The team indicated that much of their application portfolio consists of microservices
  
  
  

Front-End Development

• React experience is preferred
• Angular experience is acceptable
• Front-end experience is important because at least one application currently uses React and additional React development is anticipated
  
  
  

Database Skills

• Experience with SQL Server was specifically referenced
• Strong SQL skills are expected
