QA Automation Engineer

Role description

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in mobile (Android/iOS) and API automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure high-quality and stable releases across mobile applications and backend services. The role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks, scripting, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. 

Key Responsibilities:

  Develop and maintain automation scripts for mobile and API testing.

  Work with Appium for mobile automation and RestAssured/Postman for API testing. 

  
  

• 
  

  Contribute to building and enhancing test frameworks using Java, TestNG, or JUnit.

  Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects or performance issues.

  Collaborate with developers and QA leads to ensure complete test coverage.

  Participate in code reviews, automation framework improvements, and CI/CD integration.

  Log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira.
