Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Network Architect Job Description:

Design, implement and maintain complex, high-performance data communication networks (LANs, WANs, cloud) to support organizational goals.

Participation in Requirement gathering calls, Collect and document user requirements

Understand, analyze the information provided by the business and identify feasible solutions.

Review the estimations/tasks as per the requirement’s matrix and ensure the changes are documented

Co-ordinate offshore team and align them to the onshore counterparts in terms of deliverables/timelines

Document the Solution in the Blueprint draft for technical sections , and identify the changes to the existing systems/objects

Allocation of work to Technical team based on the analysis/tasks identified as part of the solutioning

Estimations for the Key technical Deliverables identified during the Blueprint processes

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Design & Planning: Develop comprehensive network blueprints, modelling, and capacity planning to meet current and future business needs.
• Infrastructure Implementation: Oversee the installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware/software, including cloud/hybrid environments.
• Performance & Security: Monitor network performance, optimize data throughput, and implement security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Documentation & Maintenance: Create detailed documentation for network designs, policies, and procedures; manage vendor relationships for upgrades.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work with IT teams (administrators, engineers) to troubleshoot issues, align, and execute projects.
  
  

Ket skill requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing/switching, security (firewalls, VPN), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Hand on Experience on Cisco routers/Fortinet firewalls/load balancers.
• Certifications: Certification on cisco/Fortinet/F5 are preferred.
• Experience on Cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
• Experience on network automation like Python/Ansible are preferred.
• Experience on SD-WAN network environment is added advantage.
• Experience: Having 10+ years of experience in network engineering or administration, typically holding a senior IT position.
