Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networking components.
• Operate and maintain secure, resilient network systems using industry best practices and modern technologies.
• Lead or contribute to network integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, including design, procurement, and deployment.
• Manage and optimize SD-WAN environments to balance performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
• Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
• Drive automation and scripting initiatives to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as necessary.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network capabilities.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless).
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and/or Prisma cloud services is a plus.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, AWS/Azure Networking) are a plus.
