Job Responsibilities

Provide first line support to Lincoln Electric global businesses covering SAP’s Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) and finance localization in EMEAR region. Primary areas covered will include financial accounting like general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables, fixed asset accounting and inventory management and costing like cost center accounting, product costing, profitability analysis and profit center accounting. Support to legal reporting to authorities like DART, JPK, SAFT-PT, SII, SDI. Support EDI intercompany transactions (Invoices), Taxes, Intrastat.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify the reported incident as Corrective or Adaptive.
• Open tickets in Topdesk and follow them until closed and User Acceptance of the solution provided
• Corrective incidents identify if it’s related to Security, Data Problem or program issue.
• Escalate open incidents to second like support if they can’t solve it.
• Review, research and document all SAP system change requests received from the business affecting the Finance and Accounting areas
• Prepare documentation of current SAP incidents. Document time spent on specific projects using Lincoln’s time tracking tools
• Perform data analysis as requested; perform and document system testing of configuration changes
• Check IDOC in error status and follow up until fixed

Requirements

• Solid experience in programming/configuration, analysis, design and implementation of SAP systems
• Must have a strong technical background; 2-5 years and/or 1-3 full cycle implementation experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) as a Business Systems Analyst and comprehensive knowledge of this module; Knowledge of ABAP programming language and its usage to debug SAP transaction processes to dig into the incidents reported. Knowledge of SAP Project Systems a plus.
• Good understanding of integration of SAP FICO module with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) and Batch & Serial number Management would be a plus
• Should have been involved in Production support of SAP
• Related experience in discrete or process industries in one or more of the functional areas of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or cost accounting would be a plus
• Strong logical and physical system design skills
• Experience ABAP remediation, EDI/PI, and third party software tools integration would be helpful (Concur AP, Concur T&E, Ariba …)
• Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Access, Word and Project
