Procurement Nacelle Head

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develops and implements an efficient form of organization and procedures in the assigned organization to continuously detect areas for rationalization and increase profitability.
• Manages resources and ensures competencies.
• To handle gear box, yaw gear, wind hydraulics, bearings and other mechanical components.
• Ensures implementation and development of Procurement strategy, initiatives and regulations according to the superior strategy.
• Derives innovative material field strategies based on market intelligence, and gears Procurement processes towards strategic objectives.
• Initiates, plans, executes, and controls the demand pooling and Supplier Management to maximize the contribution to operating profit from materials.
• Delivers results by implementing measures to ensure the most value within their own responsibility for a Purchasing Volume.
• Drives application of technical levers for sustainable cost and value optimization.
• Drives Supplier Management processes to obtain the best suppliers and ensure transparency and early integration.
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Engineering- Mechanical
• No of years of experience: 14-16 years
• Knowledge: Supplier Development and Procurement/Purchase Process
• Fluent English in both spoken and written;
• Accept business traveling;
• Experience with MS office; System Operation experience (SAP or ERP, Ariba) preferred.
