This role requires expertise in TruTops programming and machine operation, with additional experience in inspection using portable CMM and proficiency in UG/NX software considered a strong advantage.

Role Overview

• Operate and program 5-axis laser cutting machines to perform precision cutting on jet engine tubes, duct manifolds, and related components.
• Utilize TruTops software for programming and optimizing laser cutting operations.
• Perform setup, calibration, and maintenance of laser cutting equipment to ensure consistent quality and performance.
• Conduct inspections using portable CMM to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to execute cutting operations accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of production activities, inspections, and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laser cutting processes and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  
  

Ideal Candidate

Experienced 5-axis laser cutting operator with 5+ years in aerospace or precision manufacturing, proficient in TruTops programming, portable CMM inspection, and technical drawing interpretation, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in laser cutting operations, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Trumpf TruTops programming and operation of 5-axis laser cutting machines.
• Experience with portable CMM inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with UG/NX software for CAD modelling and design interpretation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
