Systems Engineer Integrated Broadcast Services IBS

About the Role:

This role provides Systems Engineering support across multiple JC2 SPO products and programs, including CAF16, CJC03, JP9101 and SEA1442. The position ensures effective sustainment and integration of Integrated Broadcast Services (IBS) capabilities through structured engineering governance and adherence to Defence frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Engineering Management Plans aligned to ASDEFCON engineering standards
• Establish and maintain Engineering Management System artefacts for JC2 SPO products
• Execute engineering plans aligned to program schedules and contractual arrangements
• Conduct CDRL reviews and provide assurance on vendor deliverables
• Participate in System Safety Working Groups and contribute to safety program execution
• Manage system performance, including incident response and system reliability improvements
• Maintain configuration baselines and ensure integrity of technical and logistics data
• Engage with Defence Configuration Change Boards and ICT release governance forums
• Support development and implementation of System Safety Management Systems
• Ensure workforce capability aligns with Technical Authority requirements
• Support obsolescence management and system growth planning
• Manage integration and interoperability across multiple Defence capability systems
• Respond to evolving Defence, Government, and Capability Manager requirements
