Role Purpose

Responsible for presentation, sales, profitability, VM (Visual Merchandising) and customer satisfaction of categories/brands in the respective department.

Key Responsibilities (BSC Perspective)

  • Finance
  • Achieve revenue and gross margin targets
  • Control inventory levels and shrinkage
  • Increase margins and minimize expenses
  • Achieve higher average transaction value (ATV) per customer
  • Customer
  • Ensure store/department looks as per guidelines
  • Ensure sales team meets customer needs
  • Assist customers with product location and purchase decisions
  • Answer customer queries effectively
  • Internal Business Process
  • Ensure effective stock management and VM implementation
  • Monitor sales figures and inventory planning
  • Gather consumer data for feedback
  • Adhere to Mockshop guidelines
  • Ensure SOP implementation and adherence within the department
  • People / Learning & Growth
  • Ensure sales staff are trained and updated regularly
  • Enhance product knowledge and brand differentiation
  • Recognize and develop talent
  • Optimize manpower resources for the category
  • Conduct functional and behavioral training
  • Mentor sales associates through training and career planning
  • Update team on new products, brands, presentation and selling techniques

Academics And Experience
