General Ledger Accountant Fixed Assets Associate

Your Role and Impact

We are looking for an entry-level GL Accountant – Fixed Assets Associate to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to start or develop your accounting career in a global, multicultural environment.

In this role, you will support fixed asset accounting activities, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and participate in month-end closing processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fixed asset accounting and processing activities.
• Communicate with sites on fixed asset-related matters.
• Assist with monthly fixed asset reporting.
• Reconcile selected general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Support month-end closing and financial consolidation activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Up to one year of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Confident MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle.
• Previous experience in a multinational or shared-services environment.
• Exposure to fixed asset accounting processes.
