Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

This role will support strategy development and corporate growth initiatives for GAL’s adjacency businesses. The position will work closely with the CEO’s office and senior leadership team to help drive business growth and long-term value. The role will assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, supporting the development of strategic plans, and converting market research into actionable insights for non-aero businesses such as Cargo, Duty Free, F&B, and Mobility.The position will act as a supporting strategy role across businesses by gathering market data, assisting with financial analysis, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support decision-making related to investments, partnerships, and new initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities	Key Performance Indicators
Strategy Development & Business Planning: Assist in Roll out of business planning process for GAL Adjacency business Drive AOP and 5-year strategic planning, including assumptions, financials, and alignment with leadership	Strategy quality, leadership alignment, execution readiness
New Business Opportunities Support conceptualization of new business models (e.g., Airport taxi, Advertisement, cargo, irradiation, etc.)	Quality of opportunities, conversion to approvals
Investment Evaluation & Financial Modelling Support in end-to-end business case development, including financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and return metrics Assist in evaluation of bids, capex proposals, and strategic investments	Robustness of models, decision effectiveness, approval rate
Strategic Initiatives & CEO Office Support Collaborate with business teams to drive high-impact strategic initiatives across GAL Support CEO in reviews, strategic discussions, & decision-making	Impact on business decisions, leadership feedback
Performance Insights & Strategic Analytics: Lead deep-dive analysis of business performance, KPIs & financials.	Quality of insights, business impact
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership Conduct sector research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis (aviation, non-aero, mobility, cargo, etc.)	Relevance and usability of insights
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership:Collaborate with Business Heads, Finance, Legal, & SPG teams to shape strategies and drive alignment	Stakeholder alignment & execution effectiveness
Leadership Communication & Governance: Preparation of CEO/Board-level presentations, investor materials, and strategic documents	Quality, clarity, and timeliness of communication

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B.Tech & MBA (Finance) preferable from Tier 1 Institute
