JobDescription

We are looking for a motivated Production Engineer/Senior Production Engineer with experience in power cable manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for achieving daily production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing machine performance, reducing manufacturing losses, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily production plans as per the manufacturing schedule.

Monitor cable manufacturing processes including Wire Drawing, Stranding, Insulation, Extrusion, Sheathing, and Armouring.

Ensure adherence to process parameters, quality standards, and product specifications.

Optimize machine utilization and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Minimize scrap, rejection, and rework through effective process control.

Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain production reports, shift reports, and MIS documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, SOPs, and company policies.

Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Train and guide machine operators on production processes and quality requirements

Required Education

B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.

Preferred Skills

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and manage shift operations.
