Roles and Responsibilities:

The Digital Advertising Specialist has an important role; you could literally save lives. You will be working directly with non-profit organisations on strategic digital advocacy campaigns and fundraising programs. You are in a position to impact how people change the world. The Digital Advertising Specialist will be the lead on Facebook acquisition campaigns. You will be an invaluable part of the team – literally funding causes on the biggest issues of our time, like climate change, the global refugee crisis, and poverty. Our Consultants will love working with you because you deliver the leads and conversions that are forecast. The Producers will learn from your Facebook ad skills and tactics. And our non-profit clients will be delighted that you’re able to connect people who care about their cause, with the organization that is making change happen.

Performance Targets:

  • Raving reviews from our Consultants
  • Successful Facebook advertising campaigns where lead and conversion targets are HIT within budget
  • Over-achieve targets (conversions, volume, engagement)
  • Evidence of trying new platforms/ ways to obtain the data and information we need to deliver our digital projects.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Proven experience liaising with multiple internal stakeholders (explaining things clearly and following up)
  • Ability to brief/provide feedback and coordinate technical/ digital development teams


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Facebook and Google Ads acquisition campaigns for non-profit organizations, focusing on strategic digital advocacy and fundraising programs.
  • Contribute to impactful causes like climate change, the global refugee crisis, and poverty.
  • Work collaboratively with Consultants, delivering forecasted leads and conversions.
  • Potential career paths into Strategy and Consultation or broader digital production, development, data, and programming.
  • Report to Senior Digital Producer, managing workload across multiple projects in Australia and New Zealand.
  • FB pixel and integrations- Google Ads is primary and should be thorough
  • Social media integrations with Zapier or other tools
  • Email Marketing Strategies- Mailchimp/Butterpilot.
  • Automation Platforms, Website building Platforms like Raisely/WordPress.
  • Tracking-Analytics-GA4, Looker studio building and data analysis.
  • Proven track record of adhering to deadlines
  • Experience reporting in Excel and using formulas for projections and measuring success against key metrics.


Requirements:

  • You’re a Facebook advertising specialist.
  • You should be able to build/understand media plans and budgets, and how to best spend the budget across social channels
  • You should be able to understand what makes a good creative and how to optimize it
  • You should understand audience targeting
  • Experience setting up and running digital advertising on other platforms and channels such as Google Ads and YouTube, Programmatic, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc
  • Putting together digital media plans + forecasts (impressions, clicks, Conversion rates, cost per conversion, ROI, etc)
  • Setting up digital ad tracking – such as Google Tag Manager, Event, Goal, and utm tracking in Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, and more
  • Data integration and automation between platforms (using tools such as Zapier or Webhooks, or similar)
  • Accurate reporting and insightful data analysis
  • Clear communications and questions
  • Supporting our consultants to learn as much as they can and step up.
