Position Overview

Were seeking a talented Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this

role, youll work remotely with our global team to build and maintain robust backend services

that power our financial platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Node.js

and NoSQL databases, along with the ability to support frontend development efforts when

needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases to implement efficient data models
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers working with React and Next.js
• Support full-stack development efforts when needed, including React component

• Implement server-side rendering solutions using Next.js when appropriate
• Build and optimize API endpoints that integrate seamlessly with our React/Next.js

• Implement secure API endpoints following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in backend development
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express.js
• Extensive experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database concepts
• Working knowledge of React.js and frontend technologies
• Experience with version control using GitHub
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Knowledge of state management in React applications (Redux, Context API)
• Experience with Next.js API routes and middleware
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial technology products
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools for development efficiency
• Experience with cloud platforms (we use GCP & Azure)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of coding best practices in financial applications
