Role Overview
Toprankers is looking for a high-calibre Associate – Founder’s Office who will work closely with the founders and senior leadership on strategic, academic, operational, and execution-heavy initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands test preparation, student needs, and technology, and can translate ideas into execution with speed, ownership, and precision.
This is not a routine desk role. It demands high aptitude, maturity, intellectual depth, and the ability to drive outcomes across teams without formal authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Academic Execution
Work closely with founders on
high-priority academic, product, and growth initiatives across verticals (CAT, Law, Judiciary, CUET, IPM, etc.).
Deeply understand
student journeys, learning outcomes, pain points, and success metrics across online and offline offerings.
Support
curriculum improvement, academic frameworks, delivery models, and quality benchmarks.
Act as a bridge between
academics, product, tech, marketing, and operations.
- Execution & Ownership (Core Expectation)
Take complete ownership of assigned projects—from
problem definition to execution and closure.
Drive cross-functional execution by coordinating with internal stakeholders and ensuring
strict adherence to timelines.
Identify bottlenecks early, solve ambiguities, and ensure decisions move forward without delay.
Operate with a
bias for action, not just planning or analysis.
- Technology & Process Orientation
Understand and leverage
edtech platforms, LMS, assessment engines, analytics dashboards, and automation tools.
Work with tech and product teams to translate academic and student needs into
scalable technology solutions.
Suggest and implement
process improvements for better efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
Prepare
data-backed notes, presentations, and insights for leadership discussions.
Track progress of key initiatives, follow up rigorously, and ensure closure.
Represent the founder’s office in internal discussions with
clarity, credibility, and authority.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Education from a marquee institute is highly preferred (IIMs, IITs, NLUs, top central universities, reputed international universities, or equivalent).
Experience & Background
2–5 years of relevant experience in edtech, test prep, consulting, product, academic operations, or fast-growing startups.
Strong exposure to
test preparation ecosystems (CAT, Law, Govt Exams, or similar) is highly preferred.
Prior experience working closely with
senior leadership or founders is a strong plus.
