Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HEMM with strong hands-on experience in maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery and heavy equipment.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, team handling, and maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of HEMM and heavy machinery.
  
• Handle maintenance of Excavators, Loaders, Dumpers, Crushers, EOT Cranes, HCVs, and similar equipment.
  
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize breakdowns and downtime.
  
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  
• Conduct breakdown analysis, RCA, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Lead maintenance teams and manage workshop/site maintenance activities.
  
• Maintain maintenance schedules, records, MIS, and reports.
  
• Coordinate with site and corporate teams to achieve maintenance and reliability targets.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering – Mandatory
  
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in HEMM / Heavy Equipment Maintenance
  
• Strong experience in Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
  
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment such as:
  • Excavators
    
  • Loaders
    
  • Dumpers
    
  • Crushers
    
  • EOT Cranes
    
  • HCVs
    
  • Other Heavy Earth Moving Machinery
    
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Hydraulic & Electrical systems
  
• Experience in maintenance planning, team handling, troubleshooting, and RCA
