YouTube Strategist

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our YouTube ecosystem end-to-end. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes YouTube, understands the platform’s algorithm in depth, and can turn insights into high-performing content strategies. You will lead growth, content, collaborations, and experimentation across multiple YouTube channels.

What You’ll Own

• Build and execute the YouTube growth strategy across channels.
• Lead content planning, scripting, production, and publishing with internal and external teams.
• Optimize videos for CTR, watch time, retention, and search.
• Analyze performance using YouTube Analytics, competitive tools, and audience insights to drive decisions.
• Own channel hygiene — metadata, thumbnails, playlists, uploads, SEO.
• Manage creator collaborations, partnerships, and influencer features.
• Drive experiments (formats, thumbnails, hooks, content buckets) to achieve growth targets.
• Work closely with marketing, brand, and product teams for integrated storytelling.
• Manage a small team of editors, producers, and freelancers.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience in YouTube strategy, content, or digital marketing, with proven results.
• Demonstrated ability to grow channels at scale (content, SEO, distribution).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, analytics, and audience psychology.
• Creative eye for thumbnails, hooks, storytelling, and pacing.
• Excellent project management and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing creators, agencies, or production teams.
