As a UX Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing seamless and meaningful experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver interfaces that are user-friendly, visually engaging, and aligned with the needs of diverse users, including clinicians, administrators, and care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web, iOS, and Android across devices including phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into elegant design solutions.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma (or equivalent).
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure implementation aligns with design intent.
- Develop and maintain design systems and UI libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Design data-rich dashboards and workflows that simplify complex information and improve usability.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback cycles to validate design solutions.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices.
- Follow Agile or Lean methodologies to deliver software efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful (Required Skills):
- 3+ years of experience in UX design and front-end development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design for multiple platforms and form factors (web, iOS, Android).
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools for wireframing, mockups, and clickable prototyping.
- Demonstrated ability to design data-driven dashboards and workflows that communicate complex concepts simply.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, design systems, responsive design, and visual hierarchy.
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and UI/UX best practices.
- Exposure to cloud security best practices in AWS.
