At Mudrex, we are driven by our vision to democratise access to crypto for millions of users. To achieve this, our underlying systems must be industrial-grade: ultra-reliable, lightning-fast, and infinitely scalable.
As a Technical Product Manager in the Quant team, you will be the bridge between complex technical architecture and seamless product delivery. Working at the execution layer of our platform, on one hand, you will collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Core Development teams to build the foundational systems that power our crypto investment products. On the other hand, you will also get to work closely with other product teams to create underlying systems that will be stepping stones towards creating features that not only alleviate end-user pain points but also fulfil business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Roadmap & Governance: Own the long-term roadmap for Mudrex’s core infrastructure. Balance prioritisation of technical debt, scalability upgrades, and cost-efficiency initiatives against user-facing feature requests.
Pricing & Data Systems: Own the product lifecycle for our pricing engine. Ensure 24/7 accuracy and low latency for price feeds across thousands of assets, managing integrations with global exchanges and liquidity providers.
Order Management Systems: Design and optimize the lifecycle of an order, from placement and validation to execution and settlement. Focus on reducing latency, improving success rates, and handling complex order types.
Operational Excellence & Platform Integrity: Oversee liquidity management across exchange wallets, orchestrating the end-to-end asset lifecycle (listings/delistings), and ensuring all transactions are recorded in a high-fidelity, audit-ready format for external regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the other product teams, translating complex product requirements into clear infrastructure needs.
Vendor & Provider Management: Manage technical relationships with upstream liquidity providers, node service providers, and cloud infrastructure partners to ensure optimal service levels.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within Fintech, or Crypto exchange environments or experience managing technical products.
Technical Depth: Deep understanding of REST/Websocket APIs, Micro-services architecture, Distributed Systems, and Database Management.
Crypto/Web3 Proficiency: Strong grasp of how order books work, blockchain transaction lifecycles, and the technical nuances of CEX/DEX integrations.
Data-Informed Prioritization: Skilled at using tools like SQL, Grafana, or ClickHouse to analyze system performance and justify infrastructure investments with data.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, AWS core services, Kafka) and distributed storage systems.
Prior experience building pricing or matching engines for exchanges or fintech apps.
Experience in a high-growth startup where you had to balance rapid feature delivery with long-term technical debt management.
Understanding of financial settlement processes and accounting integrity in a multi-currency environment.
Why Join Us
Build the Foundation: You are responsible for the "source of truth" and the "engine of execution" for the entire company.
Technical Challenge: Tackle some of the hardest problems in fintech, including real-time data synchronization and high-concurrency order processing.
Ownership: You won’t just manage features; you will own the systems that are mission-critical to the company’s survival and growth.
Collaborative Innovation: Work in a high-trust environment where engineering excellence is a core value.
