We are doubling down on our commitment to developers who choose the path of building their own custom user interfaces. This is where you come in. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the vision and execution of the UI components and sample applications that will empower developers to build beautiful, secure, and delightful identity experiences with ease.

This isnt a traditional, hands-off product management role. You are a product person at heart, but you live and breathe the developers journey. You will be the champion and first customer for a suite of web and native components, sample applications, and reference architectures. Your work will directly impact millions of developers, making Auth0 stand out as the most developer-centric identity platform in the world. Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite per week)

What you’ll be doing:

• Help define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Auth0s developer-facing UI components (Web & Native) and our portfolio of sample applications.
• Act as the first and most critical customer: actively prototype, build with our own components, and test early and often to provide direct, hands-on feedback to your engineering team.
• Partner deeply with engineering and UX design teams to transform complex identity concepts into simple, elegant, and highly customizable components that developers love to use.
• Conduct deep research, including customer interviews, usability studies, and analysis of open-source and competitor solutions, to intimately understand developer pain points and opportunities for delight.
• Pair with engineers to go deep into implementation specifics, unblocking them and discovering new ways to improve the developer workflow.
• Author clear, compelling product specifications, and work with your team to break down work into an actionable backlog.
• Champion our open-source strategy for these developer tools, fostering community engagement and ensuring we are excellent open-source citizens.
• Collaborate with other Product Teams and Developer Relations to successfully launch new components and samples and drive their adoption.
• Define and analyze the metrics that matter for developer adoption, engagement, and satisfaction to inform the success of your product area.
  
  

What you’ll bring:

• 5 years of product management experience, with a significant portion in a technical or developer-focused domain (e.g., APIs, SDKs, developer tools).
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue, Angular). You should be comfortable spinning up projects, integrating components, debugging simple applications and experimenting with new ideas.
• You have a critical eye for what great developer experience looks like, and you consistently leverage that product sense to deliver components and sample apps that are easy to use and directly accelerate integration time.
• Familiarity with native mobile development concepts (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin) to effectively guide product strategy for mobile components and samples.
• A strategic mindset for market and technology analysis. You actively track emerging UI frameworks and design system trends to provide technical foresight, ensuring our components and sample applications are consistently modern and highly relevant to the developer ecosystem.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to market.
• (Preferred) Experience contributing to, managing, or growing open-source projects.
• (Strongly Preferred) Experience in the identity and access management (IAM) space, with an understanding of protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
