Role Summary/Purpose

This role is a Technical Product Manager position responsible for delivering core capabilities of the Enterprise Product Hub for Wabtec. The position requires hands-on execution.

Product Hub is the unified digital backbone of the company—integrating engineering, data, and enterprise systems—and is now scaling across business units.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and enhancing Product Hub modules
  • Integrating a 3D PMI viewer into the Product Hub
  • Supporting the migration of a legacy enterprise application with approximately 4,000 users

The role is expected to expand into full product ownership as the Product Hub continues to scale.

You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery outcomes for the Product Hub application.

Responsibilities Include

  • Converting scope into sprint-ready work items
  • Driving execution with engineering and integration teams
  • Managing key integrations and contributing to technical decision-making
  • Planning and delivering phased migration from a legacy system
  • Ensuring features meet production readiness and stability standards
  • Conducting sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery tracking
  • Making day-to-day delivery and trade-off decisions independently

This position reports directly to the Portfolio Leader and works closely with Architects, Developers, QA teams, Cloud/DBA teams, and engineering and manufacturing functional groups to deliver application features, integrations, and migration milestones across the Product Hub.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the Product Hub delivery roadmap
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear sprint deliverables
  • Drive development of enterprise-level solution features and integrations
  • Plan and manage large-scale user migration activities with minimal disruption
  • Work directly with developers and architects to remove delivery blockers
  • Validate features through hands-on testing and structured user feedback
  • Track progress, risks, and dependencies, and take corrective action as needed
  • Maintain defined scope and support predictable delivery timelines
  • Ensure decisions are made efficiently to support continuous progress
  • Focus on producing tangible delivery outcomes over administrative tasks
  • Operate with clear ownership and accountability for assigned areas

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Strong understanding of:
  • APIs and system integrations
  • Data flows across enterprise systems
  • Agile sprint execution and backlog management

  • Strong analytical and Influencing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • High energy, Customer Passion and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
  • Exposure to PLM, ERP, or engineering systems
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows, drawings, or 3D visualization
  • Manufacturing or industrial domain experience
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and having the ability to navigate ambiguous situations
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Demands

  • Employee is required to work on a computer for up to 8 hours per day
  • Employee may be in a sitting position for several hours per day
  • Employee must be able to read small text on computer screens/monitors.
  • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

Work Environment

  • This position is one that would require the Technical Product to be present in the office as per Hybrid Policy per week as agreed to by HR and/or their manager.
  • This position will require the employee to maintain hours during a typical day to overlap with team members and business users around the world with special attention to people in the time zones of India, Europe, and the U.S.
  • This position will likely require the employee to travel a few times annually to physically meet with stakeholders and team members globally.
