Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Tax Technology Product Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of indirect tax technology solutions as part of a global Oracle Fusion and SAP S4/HANA ERP transformation. This role will focus on integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination (OITD) with ERP platforms, ensuring compliance, scalability, and seamless tax automation across global operations.
In this role you will operate in lockstep with product management to create a clear strategic direction, define detailed requirements, and deliver new features and functionalities. Your priority will be ensuring seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders, including Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.
As a key member of the Digital Technology (DT) team, you will partner with Tax, Finance, Procurement, and IT stakeholders to deliver robust tax technology capabilities aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Roadmap
- Serve as Product Owner for Indirect and Direct tax technology and reporting applications integrated with ERP and Data warehousing solutions.
- Define and manage product roadmap, ensuring alignment with global tax compliance, ERP rollout milestones, and business priorities.
- Prioritize enhancements, manage backlog, and oversee release planning using Agile methodologies.
Solution Design & Integration
- Lead functional and technical design discussions for indirect tax integrations with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, S4/HANA).
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design and implement integrations between ERP and Tax applications.
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for performance, scalability, and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison between Tax, Finance, and technical teams to translate tax requirements into actionable system configurations.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in clear business language to senior stakeholders.
Implementation & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of indirect tax engine integrations, including testing and validation.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and ensuring accurate tax determination across transactions.
- Manage issue resolution, incident response, and root-cause analysis to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Define and track key product KPIs (system uptime, data quality, user adoption, automation coverage).
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure tax technology solutions comply with global indirect tax regulations and internal controls.
- Partner with Risk and Security teams to maintain compliance with SOX and data privacy standards.
- Oversee change control and release management processes to ensure proper documentation and governance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ERP tax technology (Oracle EBS/Fusion, SAP S4/HANA) and indirect tax engines (ONESOURCE, Vertex).
- Strong understanding of global indirect tax processes and ERP tax configurations.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or ERP Functional Lead in tax technology projects.
- Hands-on experience with ONESOURCE OITD integration and Oracle/SAP tax modules.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable, technically sound solutions.
Preferred
- Experience with middleware integration (OIC, APIs, web services).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
- Exposure to Sales & Use Tax/VAT/GST compliance and tax reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management in a global matrix organization.
