Job Title: Surface Grinding Specialist

Location: E-City phase 2, Bangalore

Work Hours: Rotational Shift

Experience: minimum 1 year experience

Role Overview:

Were looking for someone skilled in precision surface grinding. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining grinding machines to achieve high accuracy and surface finish as per requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate surface grinding machines to achieve specified dimensions and tolerances

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions

Perform machine setups, including selecting and mounting appropriate grinding wheels

Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges)

Monitor grinding operations to maintain quality and efficiency

Maintain machines and keep the work area safe and clean

Troubleshoot issues related to grinding process and recommend improvements

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with surface grinding machines (manual or CNC, depending on your setup)

Strong knowledge of grinding techniques, wheel selection, dressing, and balancing

Ability to read and understand Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Familiarity with precision measuring instruments

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Education:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die preferred, but experience is valued more.
