Job Summary

The Senior Solution Architect, D&T, MDM Admin supports software packaging and deployment in the organization to define, deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions. This role will also help support strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for application packaging, deployment and troubleshooting. This role has primary accountability for working on software packaging solutions including projects, system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures.

Working closely with the regional and global Digital and Transformation team, the role of the Manufacturing Network and Digital support site team is having responsibility for developing and efficiently operating all aspects of the sites infrastructure and End User devices in line with corporate guidelines and procedures. Performs duties in line with best Digital and Transformation practices and applicable regulatory requirements (i.e. cGMP, Computer System Validation, 21 CFR part 11 compliance). Leading the sites workload distribution and coordinating with other teams and local management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide support for IT systems and End-Users in the facility, including, but not limited to: Shop Floor Systems (SFS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Virtual and Physical servers, LAN/WAN equipment, desktop computers and laptops, communication, and collaboration systems
• Problem determination and resolution through existing procedures but also identifying new ways to resolve unexpected problems
• Subject Matter Expert for local site support on all major and more complex Digital and Transformation technologies
• Driving and coordinating IT security for local site with support from corporate Subject Matter Expert
• Collaborate with the regional and global Digital and Transformation organization to maintain the service catalogue and Service level agreements in alignment with global / regional and site-specific IT services
• Participate in local, regional, and global Digital and Transformation projects, coordinate roll-out of same on local site level and leading local Digital and Transformation projects
• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs/ Utilize and leverage Service Management tools for tracking of workloads
• Professional attitude in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work area

• Participate in “on-call” support rotation
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules

Education

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
  
  

Work Experience

• Must have Jamf experience, packaging , policy management, MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, bash scripting
• Minimum 5 years of experience of IT support and / or IT operations, ideally in regulatory manufacturing environment required
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience
• Min 5 years of experience of deployment and support and operations of Endpoints
• Must have Intune Expertise, Compliance, App protection, configuration, packaging, Windows and Android knowledge
• Prior work experience on Scripting basics (Powershell, VBscript etc)
• Must have SCCM Experience with Packaging
• Must have packaging experience with InstallShield and PowerShell Studio

• Desktop support incl. MS Office Suite; MS Windows Server administration; Network technologies/protocols and administration; Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with Co-management, Auto-pilot, Hybrid Ad environment, Entra ID
  
  

License and Certifications

• Information Technology\Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
  
  

Additional Requirements

• 10% travel, including global travel. 
• Occasional on-call work required. 
• Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed. 
• Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
