Job Title: PostgreSQL Database Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions.
• Perform database tuning and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and security measures.
• Monitor database performance and provide technical support.
• Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database security and backup/recovery processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
  
  

• Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
