Your Role

As a Redwood Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Finance automation use cases using Redwood’s capabilities. You will work closely with functional teams and platform experts to deliver high-quality automation solutions aligned with business requirements.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field

• 4–5 years of experience in delivering Finance automation projects (R2R, Journal Entries, Intercompany) using Redwood.
• Strong knowledge of Redwood Finance Automation components (processes, chains, data transformers, tables).
• Hands-on experience with Redwood Orchestrator, Runner, and Workbench.
• Ability to interpret and write REL/JavaScript expressions for automation logic.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS for front-end design and Java for back-end programming (preferred).
• Experience configuring Redwood Tables and managing process chain parameters.
• Understanding of accounting processes (FI/CO, GL, AR & AP).
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC).
• Exposure to automation best practices and scalable delivery models.
• Analytical thinking to identify automation opportunities.
• Experience working in GBS or Finance domains is a plus.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
• Configure Redwood processes, chains, and tables to meet business needs.
• Develop rules and logic using REL/JavaScript within Redwood workflows.
• Establish connections with ERP systems and ensure successful data integration.
• Build ETL logic for processing data from ERP and other sources.
• Customize or develop Redwood components for specific use cases.
• Prepare and execute test scripts to validate process performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during SIT/UAT phases.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and test results.
• Work closely with designers and platform teams to ensure smooth implementation and rollout.
