Join Dexcom as a Software Test Architect, where you’ll lead the strategic evolution of test automation across mobile-cloud native components. This high-impact role blends deep technical expertise with visionary leadership, driving quality engineering practices that scale across global teams. Where You Come In

• You architect and evolve Dexcom’s test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability across platforms.
• You lead the development of advanced test strategies that mitigate software risks and enhance product quality throughout the lifecycle.
• You influence cross-functional teams by driving best practices in test engineering, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
• You serve as a technical mentor and thought leader, guiding teams in adopting modern testing methodologies and tools.
• You are hands-on in technical design, coding, and execution, while also shaping long-term vision and strategy.
• You optimize the use of software tools for test management, requirements traceability, engineering analysis, and statistical reporting.
  
  

What Makes You Successful

• You have a proven track record of architecting enterprise-grade test automation solutions, integrating both custom-built and commercial components.
• You are proficient in one or more major programming languages (e.g., Kotlin, Swift, Python, Java) and experienced with mobile testing frameworks such as Espresso, XCUITest, and Appium.
• You demonstrate exceptional diligence in coding, debugging, documentation, and quality assurance.
• You have led CI/CD implementations and possess deep knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and trunk-based development.
• You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and excel at influencing technical direction across teams.
• You communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering and leadership audiences.

Experience And Education Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience.
• A graduate degree may be desirable with 8+ years of related experience.
• Candidates with a PhD and 5+ years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
