The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture.

Azure Data is the world leader in data management and processing with products such as SQL Server, Azure HDInsight, and Azure Synapse. We build reliable, cloud scale and high-performance distributed systems for big-data analytics on Azure. Azure Synapse is a limitless analytics service that brings together enterprise data warehousing and Big Data analytics. The Synapse core team is the heart of Synapse. It is a cloud native distributed platform that handles all the control flows and co-ordinates with dozens of other technologies like Spark, Machine Learning, Messaging, SQL etc. to ensure a seamless Analytics experience for our customers.

We are experiencing massive growth in demand for our services; our customer traffic has grown by scales of magnitude. We are looking for new, stellar engineer to join our team to help us tackle the new challenges we face as we strive to improve our services under scale. Responsibilities

• Design high quality components in C# using clean and tested code.
• Integrate Azure technologies to achieve high scale and reliability.
• Lead architecture, design, and develop features and solutions with high quality.
• Design, implement, and refine chosen solutions in close partnership with Product Management and partner teams.
• Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members.
• Provide support to online services by investigating and mitigating issues.
• Owning the components and driving them end to end, all the way from gathering requirements, development, testing, deployment to ensuring high quality and availability post deployment.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Enterprise products design and implementation (Java/C#)
• Experience building and shipping production grade on prem or cloud services.
• Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD).
• Committing or contributing to any Open-Source big data technologies
• Distributed systems design and implementation
  
  

Working experience on any of the below technologies will be an added advantage:

• Microsoft Azure Services (Compute, storage, databases (SQL, Cosmos DB), networking, Service bus)
• Log Analysis Tools
• Automation technologies

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
