As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase in the Payments Technology division, you will be an integral member of an agile team, utilizing your expertise to develop and implement innovative technology products that prioritize security, stability, and scalability. Your role will involve deploying essential AI technology solutions across diverse technical domains and business functions, all aimed at advancing the firms strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
  
  

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in ML/GenAI based system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Solid knowledge in Data structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Statistics. Advanced Python Programming Skills including Pandas, Numpy and Scikit- Learn
• Development of REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI for seamless integration into business solutions
• Experiment, develop and productionize high quality machine learning models, services and platforms to make huge technology and business impact
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with python programming languages and database querying languages
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Self-motivation, great communication skills and team player.
  
  

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies. Exposure to PySpark and databricks for Data pipeline creation
• Cloud computing: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Service, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, Reinforcement Learning, Ranking and Recommendation, or Time Series Analysis
• Knowledge of LLM models like ChatGPT, Google Gemini etc. Knowledge of Langchian, RAG and Fine tunning of the LLM models.
