Job Summary

The Software Engineer,D&T,Mobile Dev / MAUI requires in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously and oversee and participate in the design, development, and enhancement of West applications. He will work with an internal contributing to an efficient and effective production flow.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Possesses a solid understanding of the overall vision, business needs and the solution architecture for cross-platform mobile applications. Uses this in-depth knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Utilizes knowledge of best practices to develop cross platform (iOS, Android, and Windows) application using Xamarin, Xamarin Forms and MAUI.
• Writes high-quality code for the mobile application for native and cross platform mobile application.
• Designs rich user experience with adaptive/ responsive UI design for consumer-grade user experience.
• Develop restful API Services, Push Notifications for both Android, and iOS.
• Transforms business requirements into technical specifications.
• Estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks.
• Plans, develops, tests, deploys, and monitors cross-platform mobile apps in a DevOps model.
• Perform Code Review, debugs and troubleshoots production issues and crashes.
• Generating testing and test cases for new and existing programs to ensure that the application is error free.

Additional Responsibilities

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred required
  
  

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years related work experience required
  
  

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Good to have an understanding and knowledge of the following: Overall Cross Platform app development ecosystem, lifecycle, user experiences, and roadmaps.
• Deploy applications to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
• Familiar with SAP Hana Rest API services and ODATA services Integration with Xamarin/MAUI is a plus.
• Previous development experiences on Native Android, Windows, IOS ((using C#, Core Java, Swift/ Xcode) is a plus)
• Have experience on new age AI tools like (Cursor or equivalent tool) to code with Natural Language
• Comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; use sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
