Your Role And Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated hands-on engineer who brings ideas about large-scale design, security, Cloud, UI design and mobile technologies; As a software engineer, you’ll apply your deep expertise in designing, developing and delivering a world class UEM solution. You need to be versatile, display leadership qualities and open minded to take on new problems that our customers face.

IBM MaaS360 is a market leader in the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) domain. This 100% SaaS product is delivered from 10 globally distributed data centers that service 16K+ tenants and support 5M+ devices.

MaaS360 software engineers develop the next-generation solutions in UEM & Security that helps organizations manage their endpoints in secure & effective way.

Essential Job Functions

• Generate and automate tests, consider all dimensions of testing like unit tests, functional, PSR, security, localization etc within an Agile software delivery environment.
• Perform system test, exploratory tests
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and support engineers to correctly identify, prioritize and resolve issues.
• Develop test & automation frameworks to help scale and manage testing scope and environments.
• Improve the quality of developer output via training, coaching and process changes.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of software development tools and methods; related software languages; test design and configuration; related systems, applications, products, and services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to test and analyze data and provide recommendations; to organize tasks and determine priorities; Ability to provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Hands-on experience with Databases like Oracle or similar
• Proven troubleshooting skills (memory, performance, battery usage, network usage optimization, etc)
• Writing Unit tests, security tests, performance tests and benchmarking
• Automation Testing experience on web, iOS, android, windows phone.
• Strong product development/quality assurance techniques and process skills
• Experience in Java, junit, appium, vinnium, sikuli, Selenium, Jmeter, jenkins, webservices, db, linux, automation, mobile, Big data analytics, IOT, NLP
• Passion for usability, simplicity, and consistency in software testing
• Experience with developing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution on any platform.
• Knowledge of major mobile platforms (iOS, Android etc.)
  
  

• Good UNIX skills are highly desirable.
