Key job responsibilities

• Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for our customers.
• Work closely with SDEs ,Sr SDEs and SDMs to develop the best technical approach for new product development to solve business problems.
• Instill best practices for software development and documentation and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
• Write high quality distributed system software.
• Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, new services, and make recommendations for technology improvements that will help shape the future of podcast delivery architectures
• Deliver Proof-of-Concepts and proposals for integrations with emerging technologies
• Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
