We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our new team in Bangalore, focusing on building AI-powered solutions that will transform Amazons Seller Support experience. As one of the founding engineers in this new organization, you will have significant technical ownership and influence on our architecture and implementation choices.

You will work directly with LLMs and machine learning systems while developing scalable services that power our next-generation support platform. This role offers unique exposure to AI technologies while solving real-world problems that impact millions of Amazon sellers.

This role is perfect for a motivated engineer who wants to combine deep technical work with real business impact. You will help transform a complex ecosystem of 180+ tools into a streamlined, AI-powered platform while working alongside experienced engineers and leaders.

Key job responsibilities

Youll shape the future of e-commerce by tackling complex challenges across the software development lifecycle. Collaborating with business stakeholders, youll envision innovative solutions that delight customers, then design robust, scalable architectures to bring them to life.

During implementation, youll craft high-quality, reliable code that meets rigorous standards, leveraging your expertise in testing and operations to ensure seamless deployments. But your role wont stop there – as a seasoned engineer, youll also mentor junior team members, sharing your best practices to elevate the entire organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
