Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software design and development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in developing robust software solutions and driving innovation in the rail industry. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as software architects, hardware designers, RAMS, and V&V departments), contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of designing and developing software modules, as well as integrating and sustaining software systems.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture, in collaboration with the software architect
  • Performing detailed design and coding of software modules
  • Setting up the software development tool chain
  • Preparing and performing software module tests and verifications
  • Managing software work products under configuration management
  • Supporting software and hardware integration
  • Contributing to defining CI/CD pipelines and automating routine tasks
  • Participating in technology evolution through techno watch
  • Standardizing solutions by reusing or implementing reusable methodologies
  • Applying processes and standards and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Ensuring requirement management and traceability

All About You

  • Degree in BE/B.Tech/M.Tech
  • 12 to 18 years of software design and development experience using C#, Microservices architecture
  • Experience in design and deployment methodology (V cycle, SysML, requirement management)
  • Expertise in C#, .Net 5 and above, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Multithreading, XML, UML, Design Patterns and Principles
  • Experience in developing helm charts and Kubernetes operators
  • Knowledge of security protocols, digital certificates, SSL/TLS, key and secrets management, networking, routing, load balancing, redundancy, disaster recovery, VPN, and firewalls
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for defining architecture and approaches
  • Optional: Familiarity with AKS, VMware/OpenShift, or signalling systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a matrix organization
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on creating reusable codes and model-based developments
