Job Description
As a Senior System Specification Engineer in the MN S&D team, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of engineers and product managers, fostering an inclusive environment where innovation thrives. Your work will focus on driving the development of advanced 5G Small Cells and Smart Nodes, contributing to our mission of enhancing mobile networks globally.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Develop and analyze OAM functionality and interfaces in alignment with 3GPP stack standards.
- Enhance core network performance by leveraging expertise in 3GPP principles across multiple RATs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply analytical skills in solving complex technical challenges.
- Influence system architecture and design decisions through your experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
- Engage in cross-functional discussions to ensure specifications meet both technical and customer requirements.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Electronic/Computer Science/Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience on Telco-grade products
- Proficient in programming with C and C++ to analyze and understand code
- Development experience in 4G and 5G areas
- Excellent networking and communication skills in a multi-site environment
- Understanding of OAM functionality and interfaces to 3GPP stack
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience as a Systems Engineer
- Strong development experience in the wireless domain, particularly in OAM areas
