Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand the current capabilities and functionalities of the existing production platform
• Deliver new functionality for the internal production platform for the ESG Business
• Datapoint and Calculation development for ESG Business
• Analyze requirements, recommend and implement solutions, and assist UAT
• Closely collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operation and IT Infrastructure on all stages of software development life cycle. DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 to 4 years of software development experience.
• Ruby software development.
• Good understanding of Domain Specific Language (DSL) concept
• Relational Databases, especially Oracle.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• High degree of motivation, with strong written communication skills
• Good verbal communication skills required for working as a part of a geographically distributed team.
• Ability to learn quickly, grasp important concepts, and working independently if the situation demands.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
