Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Our organization supports over 20 SAP Solutions globally for various Volvo divisions, covering Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Services, Data Intelligence, Reporting, and HR.

The SAP community at Volvo includes 700 consultants worldwide. Our agile team delivers IT solutions, helping Volvo Trucks become a digital brand.

You will collaborate with colleagues in Poland, Sweden, France, the US, and India, and business stakeholders globally.

We use SCRUM and SAFe methodologies to support the Volvo brands with digital transformation speed and agility.

Therefore, we are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4 HANA experience to build and support a Global Commercial Invoicing solution for Volvo Trucks.

The Candidate Must Have

• 10+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven expertise in systems integration, including S/4HANA integration patterns (event-based, etc.).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA ABAP programming, including OData services, Core Data Services (CDS), Fiori, and API development.
• Familiarity with data migration techniques and printout technologies.
• Basic functional understanding of SAP ERP, preferably in Logistics.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to clearly document technical solutions and communicate effectively.
• Experience working in a global, multicultural environment, with proficiency in online collaboration tools and flexibility for limited travel.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
