Senior Product Designer

💻 The role

Product Design is a fast-growing team at Headout of creative, collaborative, strategic people who care deeply about defining new paradigms for our products. You’ll get to work with a cross-functional team {ex: designer, researcher, and writers} working together to build a global travel platform for the users to rely on Headout to create their memorable moments via experiences.

We’re looking for a Product Designer who has the curiosity to get to know our users and the creativity to design world-class user experiences. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team whose shared mission is to make data analytics highly usable and easily accessible to non-technical users.

💝 What skills & experience do you need

• You have at least 4 years of experience designing digital products (for Mobile and Web) in cross-functional product teams.
• You are a leader and a team player. You are able to lead design initiatives, gather complex requirements around functionality, and translate them into elegant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solutions. You work closely with junior product designers, Lead UX designers, product managers, developers, and engineers from ideation to implementation on new and existing projects across the platform. You also provide constructive feedback to junior members and mentor individuals facing challenges.
• You know user journeys intimately and strategically. You translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, consistently producing designs that require zero clarification on details like hover states, edge cases, and screen sizes.
• You champion user experience with data-driven insights. You conduct usability tests on all your modules, advocate for bettering the user experience, take into account user feedback, and learn from user behaviors to improve product experience, utilizing data for most decisions.
• You embody design excellence and consistency, contributing to design systems. You are no stranger to working with and contributing to design systems in your day-to-days. This means documenting it well for the entire team and proposing changes to design elements if necessary. You will be an inspiration for others to follow, enhancing their own projects.
