The Senior Manager - Master Data will lead the strategy, development, and management of master data processes related to material and customer data. This position entails ensuring data integrity, compliance, and governance throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and support business objectives while managing stakeholder relationships, guiding teams, and demonstrating strong leadership.

This role is located in Bangalore, India.

Your Role

Master Data Management

• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of material and customer master data.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for master data management.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various systems.
  
  

Data Governance

• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure adherence with data policies.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation in master data management.
• Lead projects aimed at improving data quality and operational efficiency.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with various functional departments to align master data with business requirements.
• Facilitate training and provide support for teams on master data processes and tools.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Effectively communicate master data strategies and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
  
  

Team Management And Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of data management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Drive team development, provide performance feedback, and create professional growth opportunities.
  
  

Who You Are

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field
• 13-15 years of experience in business, master data management, data governance, or related areas.
• Proven experience in managing material and customer master data processes.
• Strong understanding of data management best practices and tools.
• Good knowledge in SAP ERP systems, Ariba, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data quality and integrity.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
