Job Description

RtBrick is looking for hands-on Forwarding Engineers to join our cutting-edge engineering team building the RtBrick Full Stack (RBFS).

You will be part of a fast-paced team developing critical software for complex networking systems on bare metal hardware. Our culture encourages open communication, innovation, and a “Pay for Performance” mindset where learning, achievement, and rewards are self-driven.

Responsibilities

• Work on development and design of features for the Packet Forwarding Core.
• Build and implement NPU software and Hardware Abstraction Layer.
• Integrate RBFS back-store with target hardware platforms.
• Develop software for bare metal environments and low-level embedded OS functions.
• Contribute individually and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  
  

• Strong programming in C, and proficiency in Python.
• Deep knowledge of Data Structures and Packet Forwarding concepts.
• Experience with Linux virtualization (KVM, LXC) and container tech.
• Expertise in Broadcom SDKs (BCM88680 “StrataDNX”, Jericho+, StrataXGS).
• Intel DPDK, NIC driver development, and VPP (Vector Packet Processing).
• Experience in Embedded Systems development and board bring-up.
• Excellent understanding of CPU, MMU, Cache, DMA, interrupts, and embedded peripherals.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Degree in CS/EE (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech preferred).
