About The Role

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage Banyan’s SaaS and on-premise cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to build AI-augmented CI/CD pipelines, deploy Kubernetes-based microservices, and manage modern AI workloads across Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve AI-augmented CI/CD pipelines supporting multi-tenant SaaS deployments and agentic automation.
• Collaborate with AI and Dev teams to integrate AI-driven pipeline generation, testing, and telemetry.
• Build automated installation and update frameworks for hybrid/on-prem deployments.
• Manage Azure-based SaaS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized services.
• Deploy, scale, and tune Elasticsearch and vector database clusters for GenAI workloads.
• Operate and monitor Azure AI/LLM services (OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search, model hosting).
• Implement federated authentication and identity integration (Okta, OAuth2, SSO).
• Manage PostgreSQL/MS SQL databases for high-throughput workloads.
• Define observability standards (metrics, traces, logs) using Prometheus/Grafana.
• Embed security automation and Zero Trust principles in all deployment models.
  
  

• AI-Augmented CI/CD: Expertise in GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines integrating AI workflows.
• Version Control: Strong Git experience with multi-repo management and governance.
• Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure: Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and Azure.
• IaC: Hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep for reusable deployment templates.
• Authentication & IAM: Implementation experience with Okta, Azure AD, OAuth2/OIDC.
• PostgreSQL Operations: Tuning, scaling, backups, and schema migrations via CI/CD.
• Search & Vector Systems: Operational experience with Elasticsearch, Pinecone, Milvus, or Azure AI Search.
• Azure AI & LLM Deployments: Managing Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Search workloads.
• Observability: Deep expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
• Security by Design: Hands-on with DevSecOps, Vault/Key Vault, and Zero Trust principles.
  
  

• AI Workflow Orchestration within build/deployment pipelines.
• Deployment Automation for on-premise or hybrid environments.
• Multi-Cloud Fluency (AWS/GCP).
• Containerization Expertise with Docker, registries, and image lifecycle management.
• Service Mesh & Networking (Istio, Linkerd).
• Scripting & Automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configuration Management via Helm charts, Kustomize, and GitOps.
• Quality & Governance integration using SonarQube, Trivy, or Snyk.
  
  

• 10+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Proven expertise with microservices architecture and AI infrastructure components.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, vector databases, and LLM deployment on Azure AI.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (CKA, Azure/AWS DevOps) are a plus.
