Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Deployment:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Manage services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  
  

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell for provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation/Terraform.
  
  

Monitoring & Optimization

• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and third-party tools.
• Optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud resources.
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Implement best practices for identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
  
  

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with development teams to enable cloud-native application deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  
  

Required Qualifications

Education Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 5+ years in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles and 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
• Expertise in AWS services and architecture.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
  

Other Skills

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
