Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade data platforms for a financial CRM product. This role involves owning data architecture, analytics pipelines, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions while working closely with product, analytics, and business stakeholders.

You will play a key role in transforming raw data into reliable, scalable, and high-performance analytics systems that support business intelligence and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions including data warehouses, data marts, and analytics layers
• Build and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
• Lead data modeling activities for reporting, analytics, and downstream applications
• Implement and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions
• Develop high-performance data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Work extensively on AWS cloud services for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance for financial data
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize query performance, cost efficiency, and scalability of data platforms
• Mentor junior data engineers and establish best practices across the data engineering team

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture roles
• Strong expertise in Data Warehousing & Data Engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake DB (architecture, performance tuning, optimization)
• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
• Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, complex joins, analytical functions)
• Experience building ETL / ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows
• Solid experience with AWS Cloud (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EC2, IAM, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Datamarts, and Analytics architectures
• Experience working with large-scale datasets in production environments

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with financial services / CRM / analytics products
• Exposure to real-time or near real-time data pipelines
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practices
• Experience with BI tools and analytics platforms
• Prior experience leading or architecting enterprise data platforms
