Job summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior BI Solutions Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with internal customers globally to deliver end-to-end BI solutions, from initial business challenge discovery through implementation and optimization. You will lead requirements gathering sessions, design robust data models using modern cloud platforms like Fabric or Snowflake, create compelling visualizations, and ensure exceptional performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in building enterprise BI solutions, strong consultative skills to challenge and guide stakeholders, and the ability to work independently as a trusted advisor who transforms business needs into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into comprehensive BI solutions, challenging assumptions and proposing innovative approaches
• Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements, asking probing questions to uncover true business needs beyond stated requests
• Design and implement robust data models using modern cloud platforms (Fabric, Snowflake) following best practices for performance and scalability
• Create intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reports that drive decision-making, with strong focus on UX design principles
• Optimize solution performance through advanced data modeling techniques, query optimization, and platform-specific features
• Guide stakeholders through the analytics journey, educating them on self-service capabilities and best practices
• Establish and maintain data governance standards within delivered solutions
• Proactively identify opportunities for analytics-driven improvements across business processes
• Coach team members on technical best practices and consultative approaches as the CoE grows
• Stay current with BI industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our capabilities
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building end-to-end BI solutions in enterprise environments
• Proven expertise with modern cloud analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or similar)
• Strong data modeling skills with ability to design efficient, scalable solutions from scratch
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI
• Demonstrated consultative skills with ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and drive solutions independently
• Experience with SQL, DAX, and at least one programming language (Python, R)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Self-starter mindset with proven ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments
  
  
  

• Certifications in Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or relevant BI platforms
• Experience in finance or GBS environments
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for analytics
