About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with over 6 years of experience in automation testing, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement, and will play a key role in building robust test automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Cypress (mandatory), and optionally Selenium or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.
• Work primarily with JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory), and optionally Python or Java.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, or GitHub Actions.
• Utilize AWS and Azure cloud platforms for test environments and deployment automation.
• Apply basic networking concepts to support testing of distributed systems and APIs.
• Troubleshoot test failures and maintain test stability across environments.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts
• Should have experience in API Testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Exposure to Python or Java for automation.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
• Experience with performance, security, or API testing tools.
