Job Description

This is a permanent role with Client of SourcingXPress which is Series C funded Startup in Fintech domain.

As an SDE 3 – Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance applications. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are excited about tackling backend engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Ensure robust, maintainable, and well-documented code by following best engineering practices.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and backend development best practices.
  
  

• 8 to 12 years of professional hands-on experience in backend development excluding internship
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, etc.).
• Solid understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
