Your Role

As a Service Bulletin (SB) Author – Aerospace Technical Publications, you will play a key role in creating and revising Service Bulletins in alignment with Airbus standards and customer requirements. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, utilize advanced authoring tools, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of technical documentation.

In this role, you will:

• Create and revise Service Bulletins (SBs) based on SBO requirements.
• Perform configuration analysis to identify pre- and post-modification drawings.
• Apply Airbus standards such as S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100.
• Conduct technical analysis of criteria and associated data sources.
• Utilize SAP PCS and authoring tools like SAMM, DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@v, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, and APS.
• Analyze aircraft zones and access to define work locations.
• Follow the authoring process as per the Quality Plan and ensure RFT (Right First Time) delivery.
• Estimate timelines and commit to realistic delivery schedules.
• Engage in customer communication to resolve queries.
• Perform mock-ups and authoring using Arbortext or Epic Editor.
• Maintain KPIs, OTD (On-Time Delivery), and documentation quality.
• Understand workflow processes including quality checks, INC, and DCR.
• Apply root cause analysis techniques like 5 Why and 8D for NCRs.
  
  

Your Profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering
• OR B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with aerospace industry exposure
• OR AME certification with experience in airline operations and SB authoring
• Strong understanding of Airbus documentation standards and tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and timelines
