SAP FICO Consultant

Position Overview

Responsibilities - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for finance and controlling processes. - Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions according to business needs. - Provide expert functional support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO modules. - Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Create functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical developers and other module consultants. - Conduct user training and create comprehensive documentation for end-users and support teams. - Participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support roles. - In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and CO-PA. - Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes and best practices. - Experience with SAP FICO integration points with other modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP). - Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions. - Proficiency in creating detailed functional design documents, process flows, and test cases. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal). - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. - SAP FICO certification(s) are highly preferred. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration is a significant advantage. - Knowledge of financial reporting tools and integration with third-party systems.
