Job Description: Release Train Engineer

Job Summary:**
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) at TEMENOS INDIA PRIVATE LTD is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), facilitating its processes and execution. This role involves guiding teams in delivering value, managing impediments, and driving continuous improvement within the SAFe framework.
Job Responsibilities:**
Facilitate ART events and processes, including PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, Scrum of Scrums, and ART Syncs.
Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various SAFe tools and techniques, including Backlog Management and Workflow Management.
Drive continuous Performance Improvements and foster a culture of relentless improvement.
Ensure adherence to established Policy and procedures, and help teams define and implement effective working agreements.
Assist in economic prioritization of features and capabilities to maximize value delivery.
Manage Project Change Management processes within the ART, addressing impacts and ensuring smooth transitions.
Oversee Project Communications Management, ensuring effective information flow between teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Support Project Cost and Budget Management activities for the ART, assisting in forecasting and tracking.
Guide teams in Project Estimations and planning, ensuring realistic and achievable commitments.
Provide leadership in overall Project Management for the ART, focusing on delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
Coordinate and facilitate Project Meetings and Ceremonies, ensuring productivity and effectiveness.
Collaborate on Project Organization and Structure to optimize team dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
Assist in Project Resource Planning and allocation to ensure adequate staffing for ART objectives.
Proactively identify and manage Project Risk and Issue Management, escalating as necessary and facilitating resolution.
Implement robust Project Tracking and Reporting mechanisms to provide transparency on ART progress and performance.
Job Qualifications:**
Proven experience in a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar leadership role within an Agile environment, preferably SAFe.
Strong understanding and practical application of Agile and Lean principles.
Demonstrated expertise in Backlog Management, Prioritization, and Workflow Management.
Experience in facilitating large-scale planning events and driving cross-team collaboration.
Proficiency in Project Change Management, Project Communications Management, and Project Risk and Issue Management.
Ability to coach and mentor teams and individuals on Agile practices and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience with Project Estimations, Project Tracking and Reporting, and Project Cost and Budget Management.
Ability to influence without authority and drive organizational change.
SAFe RTE certification preferred.
