As a Regulatory Reporting & Testing Specialist within Market Operations, you manage end-to-end regulatory reporting and testing for derivatives products. You ensure compliance with global regulations, identify and resolve process gaps, and drive process and system enhancements. You collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Compliance, Product, Operations, and QA to deliver controlled and timely reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand and articulate test requirements to cross-functional teams
- Manage test management functionality, including defect management and EOD reporting
- Maintain documentation for program objectives, test strategy, and control processes
- Identify defects and gaps, tracking them to closure
- Track testing progress and ensure deadlines are met with the AD team
- Assist with business process design to capture technology impacts
- Manage program-level timelines and stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to business analysis as required by the program
- Communicate project status, issues, dependencies, and risks proactively
- Implement and remediate regulatory reporting requirements
- Establish and deliver end-to-end control processes for regulatory reporting
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Credit, Rates, and Equity Derivatives products
- Apply knowledge of Dodd Frank CFTC, APAC, EMIR, and MIFID II Trade Reporting
- Exhibit excellent business analysis skills for complex regulatory requirements
- Solve operational and technical issues with effective problem-solving skills
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, including senior business executives
- Deliver results with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments
- Utilize Python and Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Display experience in investment banking, especially Middle Office or Trade Support
- Leverage understanding of end-to-end transaction cycles for derivatives
- Manage effective stakeholder relationships across business and technology groups
- Adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements
- Apply control mindset to identify and mitigate operational risks
- Utilize Alteryx for data analysis and process automation
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, CA, CFA, FRM, or related disciplines
